Finally we sharpened it as always with our Nagura stone progression - it is shave ready out of the box

Bluing is similar to the protective coat which the razor had after being quenched in the time it has been made

at some spots the coating and outside lacquer is a bit dull and flaked off

It was never used before and just had a few spots that needed restorative attention
