It has a generous, quite fleshy nose with red plum, mulberry and wilted rose petal aromas that show great detail. The palate is medium bodied with grainy tannins, crisp acidity, with an almost Beaujolais like exuberance and joie de vivre (implied in a positive sense think fine Moulin Vent.)
