Even without any big-ticket reprints, I still expect Commander 2017 to be a fine purchase at current retail
Im not going to talk about the back side of this card because, well, it doesnt matter all that much
You have to choose a nonland permanent, which means thats on the board somewhere - you cant just name any card in MTGs history like with Pithing Needle or Sorcerous Spyglass, though those dont stop mana abilities, which Scheming Fence does
Even before he flips, Avatar Aang is an absurd value enginedrawing cards off bending and pushing you to play with all four elements
Theres plenty of value here, especially with that cheap spell-copy ability, but Id rather put that ability to use in the 99 of a commander like Niv-Mizzet, Parun or Narset, Enlightened Exile
Storm This is not a deck I have successfully drafted myself, but its one that I have seen be very effective
