Combat Calligrapher 7 This is one of those cards that is worded for multiplayer and is a bit confusing in what it does 1v1, which is only over making tokens for you when you attack

You and permanents you control gain hexproof from blue and from black until end of turn. Being able to stop your spells being countered and also stop them dying to target removal is incredible, and being able to draw a card on top of that is amazing
If thats not fitting for the problem youre facing, you can also choose to have all creature tokens get -2/-2 until the end of the turn, which is going to be great against Wolf tokens, Zombie tokens, probably Human tokens and basically every other creature token too
And while you can learn the game in a couple of minutes, the sheer amount of cards and combinations on offer means that you wont find this TCG lacking when it comes to strategic depth
