The deck received some very powerful additions that immediately catapulted it from tier 2 or 2.5 to an undiscussed tier 1: Head Ringer was a tool card that, unlike most of the tools in the game, could only be attached to one of your opponents EX Pokmon and gave it one extra energy cost to use any attack

This is generally a last resort, because while it's nice to get a free healing potion out of it, you might also wind up with a potion of poison or mutation

So far, this is the only part that doesnt compare well to real life, but thats not the fault of the game so much as my burgeoning RSI
