Siege cards may be better in Commander than in constructed as well since multiple players are capable of attacking a Siege
If any creatures with banding a player controls are blocking or being blocked by a creature, that player divides that creature's combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it's being blocked by or is blocking.) In general, looting a card back to the top of your deck is worse than discarding a card (since you can't take advantage of any graveyard synergies), which means the +1 is only powerful with a very narrow subset of cards (things like Miracles)
