It comes down early and can undermine a lot of the plays that many Commander decks rely on, graveyards are not always going to function as a second hand
The sheer amount of blue decks that will discard cards on a whim or self mill means that this is a card you should seriously be interested in
The decklist is an upgraded version of the Call for Backup precon, using the backup mechanic as a basis for a +1/+1 counter deck thats trying to make enormous threats and kill opponents through sheer combat damage
That said, since kithkin arent as heavily supported as some creatures in blue, green, or red, there arent as many standout cards here

There are specialty cards that do things like freeze an opponent (preventing them from flipping more cards), making someone flip three cards in a row, and even giving you the opportunity to survive a card that would cause you to bust
