This card will likely be a popular pickup for equipment and aura-stacking archetypes Eclipsed Steppe and Umbral Expanse, each of them an entry for white-black into existing land cycles, as well as Turbulent Moor from a brand-new land cycle with basic land types that enters untapped as long as your opponents collectively control at least eight lands There is so, so much more I could talk about in this decklist, but I need to keep things moving
It makes sense that these cards then are the most valuable in the set, combined with a unique border and foil design that compliments the card art
Its not a creature by default but it crews for just two, and it takes out an opposing threat in the bargain
My lead isn't big, but it's nice to have the top spot, if only for the moment
Considering how the card is played, its a surprise this classic Alpha card wasnt on this list any sooner
