All of these characters are rich in backstory and have quite a lineage in the D&D franchise
It can be especially powerful with strong enters-the-battlefield effects, such as the many creatures that place stickers or open attractions
Apparently not a Colonel in this timeline, this Ravnica: Clue Edition commander grants a host of useful abilities to your other soldiers, and has an interesting ping ability that it can bestow on your attacking soldiers
This is just a Time Ebb effect with cycling, it is one for one cheap removal and with all that in mind it turn out to be a rather solid card
The problem is that there is a monster with high attack power on the opponent's field that can create such a situation, and since you have to self-destruct that monster, it is inevitable that you tend to depend on your opponent
Certainly nothing to sneeze at
