Realizing just how much Magic happened in 2020, with the number of different products and the number of versions of each card within those products increasing drastically compared to past years, we started wondering about just how much it would cost if you actually wanted all of it
The first is a triggered ability: "When this permanent enters the battlefield, target player may search their library for a card named [name], reveal it, put it into their hand, then shuffle their library." Note that the target player searches their library (which may be affected by effects such as that of Stranglehold) and that the card they find is revealed, even though these words aren't included in the ability's reminder text

It doesnt go on the stack, is not controlled by any player and doesnt target the chosen player
This new set will apparently be the first of several upcoming sets with different thematic concepts, a choice thats been spurred on by the in-universe events of the March of the Machines set released last year
