It does 80 base damage, but does another 80 damage if the card has at least two extra energy cards attached to it

It makes all Crystal Beasts on the field Dark, and, if a Crystal Beast monster the player controls takes damage in a battle, the player can send a Crystal Beast from the deck to the graveyard, stopping the player from taking battle damage

Although this may not be the reason Konami banned the card, it sure made a good argument

There are some seriously creative, flavorful, and competitive tools here

Regardless, both cards function the same and can be immediately used in a sealed battle tournament if desired
