If an Adventure spell leaves the stack in any way other than resolving (most likely by being countered or by failing to resolve because its targets have all become illegal), that card won't be exiled and the spell's controller won't be able to play that card from exile later
These high-cost characters can challenge repeatedly before other characters drain their willpower and banish them

So banishing your items to play cards or discarding them to pay costs isnt the end for them
The artists have truly settled into their groove (six sets in, you'd hope so!) and there's a fab unifying swashbuckling aesthetic going on
